Fast and Simple Breakfast Ideas for Summer
This past weekend the Atlanta Street Food Festival was held at Stone Mountain Park. My family spent our Sunday Funday checking out the food trucks from around the Atlanta area, and sampling some tasty treats. One of our favorite stops was the Thomas’ Breakfast Tour. The Thomas’ Breakfast Tour was the cutest life size interactive toaster trailer complete with samples and games. We we were treated to Thomas’ English Muffins and Thomas’ Bagels with the choice of butter or cream cheese on top. Thomas’ English Muffins happen to be the #1 Selling English Muffin brand in the country, with more than one billion Thomas’ English Muffins sold each year. They are crunchy on the outside and soft and chewy on the inside.
My kiddos placed their orders and enjoyed watching the behind the scenes action on the toaster trailer.
They even made this cute gif on the interactive toaster truck.
Another Sunday Funday was in the books and we had a great time at the Atlanta Street Food Festival!
When I got home I started thinking about how I could make breakfast easier for everyone in my family. With summer here, Atlanta has been reaching almost 100 degree during the day. I want to make something quick and easy without heating up the kitchen, so Thomas’ English Muffins and Thomas’ Bagels are just right for that.
Thomas’ Bagels are already pre-sliced so it’s even easy for the kids to toast them up to make a quick breakfast on their own. My ten year old can fix these easy, and even BabyCake can pop a few in the toaster. We like the full size Thomas’ Bagels for breakfast, but they also come as Mini Bagels and Bagel Thins® that are whole grain with only 110 calories if you’re concerned about your figure. One of my favorite ways to enjoy Thomas’ Bagels for breakfast is with fresh fruit and cream cheese.
- Thomas' Bagels
- Cream Cheese
- Fresh Sliced Peaches
- Raw Honey
- Pinch of Nutmeg
- Toast Thomas' Bagels to your desired crispness
- Spread cream cheese on Thomas' Bagels
- Arrange fresh sliced peaches
- Drizzle with raw honey
- Sprinkle with a pinch of nutmeg
It’s currently peach season, so these bagels are perfect right now. Here are a few other combinations and ways you can enjoy Thomas’ English Muffins and Thomas’ Bagels.
Cream Cheese with Strawberries and Raw Honey
Avocado with Eggs Sunny Side Up
Cream Cheese with Lox and Capers with Red Onions
Apple Butter with Raspberries and Cinnamon
Neufchâtel Cheese with Blueberries
