In this post I list five must haves for road trips with kids. Summer is in full swing and it’s vacation season. Many families still enjoy traditional road trips over taking to the skies. When traveling with the little people make sure to pack these items!
1. Books! One can never do too much reading. Kids can choose their favorite books or even pack new ones for the road. It’s always something to learn from a book, even in summer.
2. Snacks! Pack healthy snacks inside the car to limit stops on the road. Make sure they are non-perishable so you don’t have to worry about coolers and such inside the car.
3. Crayons and Coloring Books! What kid doesn’t love to doodle up something new?!
4. Small toys! Kids usually don’t want to leave their favorite toys behind at home. Take a few small ones that can fit in a backpack to keep them busy.
5. iPad or Tablet! Fill up your iPad or Tablet with educational games, books and movies to keep your little ones occupied.
