Did you know you don’t have to go to a salon for a hot oil treatment? You can do your very own at home. Avocado oil is fabulous for a quick hot oil treatment at home. All you need is the oil, a plastic cap, either a hooded dryer or a damp warm towel to wrap around your head.
Heat 1/4 cup of avocado oil slightly. Should be warm to the touch. Apply the oil liberally to your wet hair and scalp. Place the plastic cap over and proceed to sit under the hooded dryer for 30 minutes. Afterwards rinse and do a light shampoo and your regular conditioner.
Expect soft shiny hair. Avocado oil is rich in vitamins A, D, E and B6, magnesium, copper, iron, amino acids and folic acid, all of which is extremely essential for hair growth.
