Macy’s Celebrate Black History Month:

The Soul Era

I’m so excited about this fun event that will be headed to a city near you! One of my favorite style icons and celebrity stylists June Ambrose, along with costume designer Johnetta Boone have teamed up with Macy’s across the country to celebrate the “Style of Soul Era” for Black History Month. They’ll take a look back at the fashions that ruled the runway in the 60’s & 70’s that definitely have influenced how we dressed in the past and today! Remember bell bottoms and polyester with a fashionable flair?! 

June Ambrose and Johnetta Boone will both be at a Macy’s in your city! They have contributed so much to the fashion industry and worked with some of the biggest stars such as Beyoncé, Jay-Z, Will Smith, and Zoe Saldana, and have been featured in Vogue Germany, New York Magazine, VH1 and HBO! 

There is no purchase necessary to attend this event. Following the panel there will be a reception for everyone who has attended plus more amazing fashion! 

I’ll be attending this event in Atlanta, at Lenox Square Mall on February 6th at 7pm!
