Spring Family Fun: Brookhaven Cherry Blossom Festival

I love Spring in the Atlanta area! The weather is the perfect temperature for getting outside and doing something fun with the family. If you guys are following me over on Snapchat and Instagram, then you know my family enjoys a variety of fun things to do around the city almost every weekend. I’m excited about the upcoming Brookhaven Cherry Blossom Festival on March 25-26th, because not only is it FREE, but there is something fun for the entire family. 

Brookhaven Cherry Blossom Festival Details: 

WHEN: Saturday, March 25th (6am-9pm) & Sunday, March 26th (10am-9pm)

WHERE: Blackburn Park, 3501 Ashford Dunwoody Rd, Atlanta, GA 30319

COST: FREE 

Fun Activities Include: 

• The Children’s Village – At The Children’s Village your kids will enjoy face painting, balloons, bounce houses, rock climbing, games, and more! There will be plenty of seating and shade for the parents. 
• Classic Car Show: Antique cars, trucks, and custom vehicles will be on display! Various prizes to be awarded for Best in Show, etc. 
• Pet World – Pets are welcome at the festival! There will be a dog show, parade, costume contest, games, prizes, and even an adoption area for pets looking for a forever home. Animal care professionals will also be on hand to answer all of your pet-care questions. 
• Musical Performances – There will be live music from Atlanta bands like the Breeze Kings, Gurufish, Ed Roland and The Sweet Tea Project, Wesley Cook, and more!
