2016 Mazda CX-5 Grand Touring Review

Recently my family headed to Barnesville, GA to spend the weekend at a ranch. I was excited to test this new 2016 Mazda CX-5 Grand Touring since it was perfect for driving through the country roads and gravel. I really liked the sporty look and feel of this car. The standard aluminium alloy wheels really add to the overall style and design of the vehicle. 

This sleek leather interior has seating for five and featured heated seats perfect for the cooler fall & winter days to come. The power sliding moonroof opens with one touch and has an interior sunshade if you want to adjust the amount of light and sun you let in. 

The 2016 Mazda CX-5 Grand Touring has a lot of awesome features that enhance your driving experience. With the high pollen count here in Georgia throughout the spring months, I really appreciate the air conditioning with pollen filter. If you’ve seen cars in Georgia during the spring, they are covered completely in a layer of green pollen. Once you turn your car on, the pollen seeps through the vents. The 2016 Mazda CX-5 Grand Touring will cut down on the awful green pollen that gets into your vehicle. Allergy sufferers like myself can rejoice! 

The navigation and audio system are controlled by using this cool joystick in the middle. Switching the CX-5 into Sport mode gives the car a little more edge and allows you to drive more aggressively. It was actually perfect to keep up with the Atlanta traffic on the highways. The Mazda CX-5 Grand Touring was also great on the gas mileage getting 35 mpg on the highway. I drove to Barnseville, GA and back home without putting in any gas and I had already been driving around for the entire week.  

The 2016 Mazda CX-5 Grand Touring has a lot of convenient safety features like the blind spot monitor, and lane departure warning system. These features work together to keep your family out of harms way when you’re on the road. 

The 2016 Mazda CX-5 Grand Touring has ample amount of trunk space in the back. If you decide to carry some cargo, move a few boxes, or need the extra space in the back for any reason the seats are dual splitting. There is also a shade to cover your trunk space for more privacy or if you just want a neater look after packing the car full of groceries.
