As a busy homeschooling mom, me time is so important to me! I’m with my children almost around the clock, so I need those moments away to regroup. In 2015 I’m dedicated to spending more time relaxing, and doing things that fulfill me. Moms, if you don’t take care of yourself, no one else will!

Last week I got a few hours away to spend some time alone and I headed to a few of my favorite stores. The first stop was Walmart and I picked up two of my favorite magazines.  All You® & Real Simple®!

I love both of these magazines, and they always give me some great ideas! I was inspired to create DIY Lavender Coconut Oil Bath Fizzles after reading the two. Lavender is soothing and relaxing, and coconut oil is great for your skin. You don’t even have to leave home to get some me time! Plan a bath to relax and drop a fragrant bath fizzle in!

While I waited for my bath fizzles to dry, I read both magazines for some new dinner ideas.

The heart shapes are perfect if you’re celebrating Valentines Day, but you can use any kind of ice tray.

Make sure to allow your bath fizzles to dry for 5 hours minimum. If you try to use them sooner they may crumble upon release from the ice tray.
