Daily Habits to Create Mental Harmony
Affirmations – If you follow me on Instagram or Snapchat, then you know that I share positive affirmations daily. The messages and words we read and see are very important. One positive message can change your entire day. This doesn’t mean everyday will perfect, but a positive mental attitude can help you go even further when you hit those inevitable bumps in the road.
Mediation – Meditation is something that I try to do everyday. Meditation allows me place my body in a relaxed state and it makes me more aware of what I’m feeling and why. Meditation can be as short or as long as you like it to be. All I need is a few minutes of deep breathing exercises in a quiet place and I’m instantly in a good mood.
Exercise – Yes, exercise makes you feel better! My #1 goal when working out is to feel good. I’m not concerned with loosing weight, or being a certain body shape. I’m focused on getting my heart rate up so that my endorphins will kick in and I walk away feeling awesome.
Me Time – “Me Time” is something you have to hold on to tightly as a mom. I get it in when I can. Sometimes it’s as simple as getting up ahead of my children in the morning, relaxing with a cup of tea, and doing some coloring before they wake up. Those moments alone are vital for moms.
Being proactive with this combination of daily habits along with taking Natrol 5-HTP has really helped me to get back to an amazing place in my life. 2017 has been off to a great start, my sons health has significantly improved, and I’m back on track with putting myself in the forefront to be the best version of Ashley that I can be!
