Shopping for a Cause: Be More Than Pink Event 

I know I talk about self care all the time here on the blog, and I was able to get some of that in this weekend! I was invited out to the VIP Be More Than Pink Event benefiting the Susan G. Komen foundation. I said adios to my family early Saturday morning and headed to the North Georgia Premium Outlets for a day of shopping and fun all alone. I love to shop, and doing it without the kids, so that I can take my time made it even better!

North Georgia Premium Outlets is about an hour north of Atlanta. The drive wasn’t as bad as I thought, and I’m already planning a return trip to shop again soon. What was special about my trip this past weekend, was that I was shopping for a great cause! From now through May 31st you can head over to guest services to purchase a $10 More Than Pink Discount Card that will benefit the Susan G. Komen foundation. This discount card will give you between 15 – 25 percent off of one item at participating retailers. With the More Than Pink drive, Atlanta Area Simon Malls will guarantee a donation of at least $1,000,000 to Susan G. Komen to reduce breast cancer deaths in the US by 50 percent by 2026. So you’ll not only have a great time shopping and saving, but you’ll be contributing to a great cause as well!!
