Virgin Mobile Custom Event

Recently I was able to attend a VIP lunch at the Sprint headquarters here in Atlanta. I thought it was pretty cool to be in the building where so many corporate decisions are made. I didn’t even know it was in Atlanta! While there I learned more about their prepaid program, Virgin Mobile. Prepaid cell phone service is a great option for so many people. In the past, a lot of the thoughts surrounding prepaid cellphone service was that there would be a bad connection, or you couldn’t get the latest phones. Virgin Mobile changes that! Virgin Mobile has just launched the new Custom Build Your Own Plan service. 

They have a few different Android phones to choose from. 

I received this cute LG Pulse to try out. Virgin Mobile Custom is perfect for families on a budget or your teen that needs his first cellphone. The base plan starts at just $6.98! From there you build and add services as needed. I love to use social media, of course, so I was excited to see unlimited social apps as an add on. I can use Pinterest all I want for just $5?! It’s even more great that you can add unlimited social media apps for just $15 per month. 

The setup was pretty easy. If  you’re thinking about switching to Virgin Mobile you can bring your old phone number and their customer service can just port it over.  There are no long term contracts, and you only pay for the service you use. I don’t have any teenagers yet, even though my 8 year old thinks he’s one! But Virgin Mobile Custom is perfect as the first phone for your teenager. There are parental controls you can set up and monitor from any phone! You can adjust the specific hours when your teen is able to use his phone. With Virgin Mobile Custom you can create and manage up to five lines, and build, share, or control however you want.
